Twenty-eight years building one company. Now, building what
excites me.
I’m James Stevenson. I founded VA Airline Training at 23 and ran it for nearly three decades. In 2025 I moved to Deià, on Mallorca’s Tramuntana coast, and began a deliberately different chapter: my own products, a studio I co-founded, and selective advisory work, almost all of it now involving AI.

A deliberate change of pace.
In January 2025, after twenty-eight years running the company I founded at 23, I moved to Deià, a small mountain village on Mallorca’s Tramuntana coast. It was a deliberate decision about how to live, and about what kind of work is worth doing.
These days I choose projects on one criterion: they have to excite me. Sometimes that means my own products. Sometimes it means building alongside others. Almost always, lately, it involves AI.
